1)    Saturday10 July, 9-3 pm SNMC Bazaar & Food Festival, 3131 Jockvale Road: 613-898-SNMC

Goal is to raise $5.000 You can help in many ways and get Sadaqa Jaria 

*Spread the word around   *Donate new and gently used items

Clean, washed and useable, not the things you want to throw.  The electric appliances and computer should be in working order

and marked in working orders.  The wires and other attachment should be strongly tied up with it. 

*Collect donated items from friends, family and neighbors &

drop off at 365 Stoneway dr  off Woodroffe Road  any day any time

*Bake or donate food items such as Pizza, Cookies,  Biriany Muffins, Samosas, Cakes  should be nice wrapped in saran paper &  marked the price.  And Soft Drinks   *Volunteer on the event day and get involved

SNMC announces the 4  2-hour workshop sessions [ Fridays July 16-August 6, 6.30-8.30pm SNMC center  on internet and software tools & skills hands on activities for kids and parents. Please register by   Sunday July 11.  Must bring own laptop with wireless internet connection capability. Only 10 students  per group , will be taken first come first serve basis. Session  1: Getting connected in a safe way – hotmail/Facebook, Msn, chat rooms, giving personal information.

Session  2: Software – Power point, word, excel, windows media player  Session  3: Research – .org/.info/, library catalogues Session 4: Islamic websites, Quranic resources

Group 2: Grade 8-12

Session 1:  Searching  scholarly reliable sources, news websites/blogs of interest etc (rss feeds, google reader) –

introducing to websites like reddit, blogspot, tumblr, flickr, twitter etc

Session 2: Software – excel, iTunes/media player Session 4: Word Session 4: Software Power Pint Presentation and hands on experience

5)    Saturday  July 17 Have  Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner: 1920 Bank St :Sanabel Restaurant & SNMC gets 100% Donation

Have breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner at Sanabel Restaurant,  1920 Bank St (near Walkley behind Pizza Hut) and the owner will donate 100%  money to SNMC Saturday July 17 from 7am to 7pm, all day.   Chicken, Beef, Mixed,  Shish Kabab, Hommus, Tabbouli, Falafel, Potatoes, Rice, salad and so on, reasonable price $3 to $11per person.
