Volunteering with SNMC

SNMC encourages and welcomes anybody who is willing to volunteer. Our objective is to help the community grow and prosper. Some of the volunteering opportunities are the following:

• Reaching out to youth, women, Somali, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Middle Eastern and local Muslim communities
• Participating in various fund raising activities geared towards building the SNMC Centre and Mosque, and helping the needy
• Facilitating in management and maintenance of Jockvale Road SNMC Center & Masjid
• Organizing Salatul Juma`a (Friday prayer)
• Arranging various activities during the month of Ramadan
• Assisting in accounting by entering donation information, processing auto deduction and online donation
• Assisting in printing and sending/mailing tax receipts
• Managing contact with the City
• Administering various activities for Arabic, Bengali, Somali, Urdu and islamic studies classes
